The Priestess of Sexual Healing

A Historical Healing Novel

The Story the Village Wanted to Tell, Urmond, 1890

About this book

In this book, I write the story the village wanted to tell for the generations before me and the generations to come. The women before us were silenced and remained silent. But the next generation is here to heal, to speak, and to say: it ends with me.

Themes like sexual and ritual abuse are hard to speak about, yet so many women and men have experienced this depth of trauma.

May this book remind you that your story matters, that you matter with your story, and may it support you in reclaiming your own voice.

The Story the Village Wanted to Tell, Urmond, 1890

Sarah travels with her husband Bobby to Urmond, the village where she was born, to attend her sister’s wedding. What should be a family celebration soon becomes a return to a past she has spent years trying to forget. As memories surface, Sarah is forced to confront the silence, fear, and trauma about sexual and ritual abuse that shaped her childhood and still lives inside her.

While the village continues its rituals of normalcy and celebration, Sarah struggles to maintain her mask. Between love, loyalty, and buried pain, she begins to question everything she has been taught about family, truth, and silence. In the safety of distance and memory, she slowly moves toward the possibility of speaking the unspeakable.

A historical healing novel about memory, trauma, and the hidden lives behind respectable façades in a small village in 1890.
