A Note on the Process
When I wrote Sarah’s story, it felt pure and aligned. I had planned to continue writing Sarah’s story between December 2025 and March 2026. In January, my mother passed away, and instead of writing, I found myself planning her funeral and moving through a deep process of grief and loss. After that period, I no longer knew how to continue Sarah’s story. So I decided to bring this first part into the world and trust that Part Two will come when it is ready to come.
This story was my way of storytelling and of bringing healing into the world around some of the heaviest trauma a human can endure: sexual and ritual abuse.
